NMAM 2022 Annual Conference

Silver Linings: Adaptation and Sustainability

Grant County Convention Center, Silver City, NM

October 12-14, 2022

We invite cultural professionals working in New Mexico and beyond to submit session proposals for our 2022 conference.

Our 2022 theme is a response to the conditions of the past three years; geo-political unrest, an endemic virus, a looming recession, and raging wildfires. Where can we find silver linings from these situations to adapt and sustain our cultural landscape of New Mexico? Our focus is to find the benefits of these situations and share best practices about what we have learned over the last few tumultuous years in order to move toward sustainability. In what ways have external events shaped organizational culture, remote work, virtual fundraising, audience engagement, and crisis management and how can we continue to adapt our practices and move toward increased sustainability?
