Plein Air Painters of the Four Corners

The Farmington Museum will be hosting an exhibition of artwork by the Plein Air Painters of the Four Corners from July 30 to December 3. For fifteen years, this group has been dedicated to creating art outdoors, a practice called plein air. Painting in nature allows for direct observation in capturing light, shadow, and color. Today the group has grown to 40 members, representing New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona. This exhibit will feature approximately 100 works and is FREE to the public.
