Our 2026 theme is a direct response to the growing challenges museums face in a changing climate, both in environmental and political terms.  As climate-related events increasingly threaten collections, infrastructure, and community access, we are exploring how museums can adapt, respond, and prepare for future challenges. Through this theme, we seek to solicit proposals that aim to deepen the conversation around resilience, sustainability, and the evolving role of museums in times of crisis.
